Moses came down from the mountain and told the people all that God had told him.
They all agreed.
v 3b - "all the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!"
v 7b - "all that the Lord has spoken we will do and we will be obedient!"
v 9 & 11 - Moses, Aaron, Nadab and Abihu and 70 elders beheld God and they were not killed.
--Moses was instructed to go up onto Mount Sinai where God would give him the commandments that He had written on stone tablets.
--The glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sanai for 6 days and on the seventh He called to Moses.
--To the people of Israel it looked like a "consuming fire on the mountain."
--Moses was on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights.
