Exodus 25

v 1 - Moses instructed to take up a collection "from every man whose heart moves him"

• contribution was for money and things to build the temple.
• Instructions for building the ark to put "the testimony which I (God) shall give you" into
• Instructions for building the mercy seat
• --It was to be placed on top of the ark
• --This is where God would meet them 
• --Note: it was called a mercy seat and NOT a judgement seat.
• Instructions for building the table for the bread of the Presence.
• Instructions for the lampstand
