Exodus 28

v 1 - bring Aaron and his sons to "minister as priests to me" - Note it does not say minister to the people, but to God.

v 3 - again i says - "that he (Aaron) may minister as priest to Me."

v 4 - "that he may minister as priest to Me."

All the details of what Aaron was to wear are in this chapter.

v 38 - "Aaron shall take away the iniquity of the holy things which the sons of Israel consecrate, with regard to all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord."

WOW what a responsibility for Arron to bear. He stood as the bridge between the people and God. How is this similar to or different from the role of "minister" today?

Again - 3 times it is said that Aaron would be minister to God. Today we refer to ministers as to people or OF God.

v 41 - "that they may serve Me as priests"

Again God was who they were serving - not man.
