Jacob (Israel) moves from Canaan to Egypt to live with Joseph.

Famine still in the land
Egyptians give all their money, livestock, land and themselves for food. They are deparate.
The Egyptians become slaves to Pharaoh.
Joseph covenants with Jacob to take him home to bury him with his fathers.
