Leviticus 26
No idols
Keep Sabbaths
Reverence my Sanctuary
v 3 - If you walk in My statues and keep My commandments - -

• I will provide 
• you will prosper
• I will grant peace

v11-13 - fellowship with God resulted from obedience

BUT

v 14ff - if you don't obey:

• appoint sudden terror
• consumption and fever
• sew seed uselessly
• no fellowship
• you will not prosper
• life will be difficult

If the people didn't keep the Sabbaths and His commandments things would get worse and worse until the people would be scattered out of the land. However, if they repented and humbled themselves while they were run out of their land - God would protect them. God would remember His covenant.


Leviticus 27
Ways to "pay" for things dedicated to God to redeem them and get them back.

v 30 The tithe belonged to God though.
