For the first 3 years in Canaan - they were forbidden to eat the fruit of the trees.
Leviticus 20
If any one offers a child as a sacrifice to Molech - the were to be stoned to death.
If that person is not stoned to death, all who faltered (failed to stone them to death) would have Gods face turned against them.
v 7 - be holy for I am the Lord your God.
I am the Lord who sanctifies you.
Sex Offenses:
- Man adultery with another's wife - both death
- man with father's wife - death to both
- man with daughter in law - death to both
- man with man - death to both
- man with woman and her mother - death to all three
- man with animal - death to both
- woman with animal - death to both
- man with sister - cut off from the people
- man with menstruous woman - cut off from the people
- man with aunt - man will bear the aunt's guilt
- man with uncle's wife - bear their guilt and die childless
- man with brothers wife - will die childless
Keep these statues so that the land where I am sending you (Canaan) will not spew you out.
Also, the people who were there before you were guilty of these things - don't follow in their footsteps.

Laws for the Sons of Aaron (Priests)
- not defile themselves for a dead person EXCEPT
- mother
- father
- virgin sister
- son
- daughter
- brother
- not to shave heads or the edges of their beards
- no cuts in their flesh
- The high priest couldn't even bury his mother or father
- high priest could marry a virgin of his own people
- not defile themselves for a dead person EXCEPT
v 17 and 21 - None of the sons of Aaron who had any defect could make bread offerings to God. He could eat the bread though, but he could not go into the veil or the altar.
??What was the bread (significance of ) sacrifice and could they do other sacrifices??
